Quarry Replaces Venturi Scrubber with Bagfilter
A quarry in South West England have recently replaced a 40 year old Venturi Scrubber on their Batch Heater Plant with a state of the art Enviroflo Pulse Jet Filter.
The new Enviroflo plant will treat up to 17,800 m3/h of air extracted from the Batch Heating Plant together with a further 6000 m3/h of nuisance air from the asphalt mixer and aggregate conveyors. The new plant gives improved dust extraction and control, lower dust emissions, an increased capacity and the ability to return reclaimed filler dust to the process.
The Enviroflo Plant included the Pulse Jet Filter on an elevated support structure, skimmer, pneumatic conveying system, dust conditioner and control system and dust monitoring equipment.
